If "template" attribute of ui:composition  is relative path  then ui:define and ui:composition always will be rendered correctly. If it is absolute path then ui:define and ui:composition will be rendered incorrectly for non-web project  ( as root folder is unknown ).  You can indicate root folder for specific page with the help of  "page design options" wizard (see screenshot)
