Well, in the Mylyn case I don't think they redirect as such... the subscription update site has two associated sites (one for Tasktop, one for Mylyn) but when I install if the Ganymede site is enabled p2 may just as well pull jars from there. Will the "non-registered" and "registered" jars be any different? Or are we talking about same base layer, but MORE stuff available to registered users?

Or perhaps signed vs. unsigned jars? (which reminds me, does JBoss have a signing cert so we can sign our jars?
