RESOLVED.

New CSS class 'vpe-text' has been used as the SPANs' class to resolve the issue.
The main idea of the solution is to provide the same behavior of text wrapped by SPANs as unwrapped text (most parameters of the style have parameters 'inherit !important' e.g. 'background:inherit !important;').
