Denis Golovin commented on JBDS-509:
------------------------------------
It searches in subfolders, so even you selected c:/ it finds all servers in your local file system.
First issue is fixed and JUnit test is added.
Second and third I cannot replicate, but it seems also related to subfolder search.
So solution is do not lookup into subfolder for started server and check selected folder and subfolders.

> Key: JBDS-509
> URL: https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBDS-509
> Project: Developer Studio
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: installer
> Affects Versions: 2.0.0.cr2
> Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
> Assignee: Denis Golovin
> Priority: Minor
> Fix For: 2.0.0.cr2
>
>
> Pointed it at an AS installation - it never completed (cancelled after more than 2 minutes - it should be able to identify instantly that it was an AS)
> Pointed it at jbdevstudio folder - it found the EAP server after a *loong* time
> Pointed it at a directory with multiple application servers (never completed)
> It looks like it is doing a depth first search instead of doing a breadth first which should require much less lookups.
