I tried both 1.6.0_04 and 1.5.0_14. Both versions with the option "-server"

%JBOSS_HOME%/server/default/log/boot.log shows:

richfaces-impl-3.1.4.GA.jar and richfaces-ui-3.1.4.GA.jar *CANNOT* be deleted, while richfaces-api-3.1.4.GA.jar can be deleted.
