I am looking for this feature too.  I've seen references elsewhere that indicate it should be working for some cases, but I can't get it working.  For example, using a freshly created new Seam project in Eclipse (e.g. default settings) using JBT 2.1.0.GA, this does not preview:

<h:outputText value="#{messages['validator.assertFalse']}"/>

It's in the messages.properties.

Is there some other "default named bundle" that should be working, as Max indicated?
