Do you mean the VpeFunction is having problems with
"<%= request.getContextPath()%>"
for example?
This would be odd behaviour, as this kind of syntax is standard JSP directive syntax telling the JSP "compiler" to replace whats in the JSP syntax demarcation with context senstive URL details on compilation of the JSP part of the page. Its both "common" and "normal" for JSP coding.
The URL should only be evaluated as being complete following the compilation from JSP, and the parser should probably treat what goes between the JSP directives as simple text instead of attempting to evaluate it as a relative or absolute URL path.
If the SPACE after the "<%=" is causing the problem, I reckon the parser should be amended as the <%=SPACE(SOME JAVA)%> syntax is a common idiom.
So ....................
What was missing from your entry is what is the fix, and is there anything I can do to amend my JSP directives in my JSP (lol) to a form the VpeFunctionSrc will like, so I can make use of the VPE ?.
