    Resolution: Done

I added to the list of values choice 'default(true)' or 'default(false)' where xml schema defines the default value 
(e.g. attributes 'installed' and 'auto-create' in <component>). Otherwise, empty string is added as possible choice. In both cases, value read from xml is saved back unchanged.
