we never had a JBoss 5 server config in jbosstools so can't see how that could happen ;)

Our first JBossAS 5 adapter is in the 2.1.x development - not 2.x.

Maybe you are thninking of the JBoss adapters in eclipse webtools ? they should still be around if you installed them.
