Sorry, the installation of  WTP is really not necessary to reproduce the bug with ant files.
It remained there because while preparing the the bug description i was also testing the JBoss xml editor behavior respect to WTP xml editor too.
It looks anyhow that JBoss xml editor, besides its behavior with icons and menus, sets itself as the default xml editor overriding the WTP one.
I'd like to see this override be an option and that it let also the icon of  a generic xml file, whose content is not associated with a specific structured editor, show according to the checked xml editor.
