#1 About parsing faces-config.xml/web.xml, this files can be unavailable for us if project have multimodules architecture or if developer want's that his project support dynamic skins(like richfaces demo, skins can be selected in runtime).
 If we add configuration combobox we should give possibility to select for which scope this parameter (page, folder, project or  all project in workspace). Also if we add such combo box to vpe preferences, we should take into account that vpe can be used without rich faces templates, but this parameter are used only by this templates. 

#2 Rich Faces generated one css file, and this file can be replaced by user or by us in skins folder to fit for  version of rich faces.
