I didn't take a look at this in detail but it will definitely be a won't fix for the 3.1.x branch of the GPD. As Ronald suggests, it needs to be added in the core as well and I don't know whether there is already a JIRA issue for this, if there is one if Tom has accepted it and if it is accepted for what release it is scheduled.
Maybe you should unschedule it? The sibling issue (GPD-241) is not scheduled for a particular GPD release anyway. Or is that not a valid policy?
