Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-3018:
------------------------------------

What is SOA-4.3.0.IR5?

I have tried this with esb-server-4.4.GA in a recent jbosstools build and the server starts up perfectly. It does not ask for any credentials as the jmx console is not configured.

A note: typing a username / password in the Server Overview does *NOT* protect your server. It only allows you to access a server that *is already* password protected.

> Key: JBIDE-3018

> Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: JBossAS
> Affects Versions: 3.0.0.beta1
> Reporter: Anton Klimkovich
> Priority: Critical
>
> EXECUTE: Add server runtime and local server from SOA-4.3.0.IR5
> EXECUTE: Start server
> ASSERT: Server should start successfully.
> FAILURE: Server asks User name and Password even if it wasn't setted in server Overview. When press Ok button to confirm the password it asks it again and again. After press cansel button server stops and exception is occured in error log.
> Server JBoss 4.2 Runtime (2) Server failed to start. Exception stack trace is not available.
> If you set password in Server Overview and then try to input it while server starting it doesn't help too.
> So I can't start JBoss AS included in SOA-4.3.0.IR5 at all.
