Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-2657:
--------------------------------------------

I actually changed my mind on this one ;)

the best would actually be to use a "stack-view" (or whatever that is called in eclipse) so that when a server is selected we create the view for it, when another server is created we created another view but put that in front of the old one and then if the previous server is selected we just bring that view in front maintaining all the proper expansions.

Note: We might want to limit the number of "remembered" views to a fixed number to avoid outofmemory.

> Whenever you click on a server in the server view, another
> window opens listing the modules, event log...etc. If I expand
> the modules or event log, then switch to a different server and
> switch back again, different trees are collapsed again. This
> can be a pain when dealing with multiple servers at the same,
> i.e.cluster.
> It'd be nice if when switching to a different server, it could
> remember the status of the different modules, event trees so
> that if you click back, everything is like it was before.
> Thoughts?
