When navigating through the "New Seam Project" wizard, I was unable to select or create a Seam-2.0 runtime.

I was able to register the "jboss-seam-2.0.1.GA" runtime under Window > Preferences > JBoss Tools > Web > Seam

I came across the link below which says that seam-2.0 projects were supported by jb-tools as of October 2007:
