I have faced the same problem with the release version with very basic Java-To-Java mapping file. I would actually raise this issue to critical as this issue basically stops from proper using of graphical editor. Without graphical editor smooks IDE is not really needed ;).

But anyway I want to thank developers for the effort as tool seems to move in the very good direction!.
