What would that divergence actually be ?

We got a JBT 3.0.2/JBDS 2.1 release coming up which will continue to have this bug because of Eclipse Europe WTP being broken so worth looking into if we can somehow fix it (even if ugly).

The jar file created by the utility project is always placed in the root of the EAR folder even if the "In Lib Dir" box is checked. Checking the "Deploy projects as compressed archive" checkbox produces an EAR archive that improperly has the utility jar in the root of the EAR as well.
