I have created Maven Hibernate JPA libraries using the JBoss Maven Integration and WTP 3.1 Library Framework.
That has been done by adding the hibernate332-maven-library-provider libraryProviders ext. point and poms/hibernate332-template.xml to the org.jboss.tools.maven.core plugin.
The libraries are present only if the user selects the Hibernate platform.
In order to test, it is necessary to check out org.jboss.tools.maven.* plugins from the maven directory and install m2eclipse from http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update-dev/
