Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-4655:
------------------------------------

There is no javadoc or spec related to <wb-module deploy-name="xxxx"> and under what circumstances that particular tag should be honored. Currently it seems to be honored in the root module (the EAR project) but not in children modules.

For example if you publish the web project standalone, it will get the name listed in deploy-name, but if you deploy it nested inside the ear, this does not happen.

The spec doesn't specify and so I guess there's no way to ensure uniformity here. BLAAAAAAAAH!

I would like to see this stuff spec'd out even further, but pushing the JEE guys is hard.
