Denis Golovin reassigned JBIDE-4657:
------------------------------------

Assignee: Alexey Kazakov (was: Denis Golovin)

In this case it is not a warning because wizard read a version from seam installation and it is a '2.2.0.GA' and verified it against selected '1.2'. 2.2 is not working for Seam 1.2 facets, so there is no reason to make it a warning. The problem is that this wizard is not aware or 2.2 and it should pick up nearest version from available and form 1.2,2.0 and 2.1 it would be 2.1 but not 1.2.

> Dialog: Window / Preferences / JBoss Tools / Web / Seam
> Choosing "Add": Version 2.2 option is missing
> Error Message: The selected seam appears to be of an incompatible version '2.2.0.CR1'
> As Drools 5 support is added to Seam 2.2 using Seam 2.1 is not an option.
> Further releases of Seam should not reveal the same problem (e.g. if there was a Seam 2.3.0)
> Workarounds?
