about per-component zip they are still useful for the most downloaded ones (i.e. hibernate, drools, etc.).
How hard would it be to do updatesite-per-component-or-group-of-components.zip's ? i.e. basically partial updatesites ?
would we have to maintain alot of redundant metadata ?
