Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-2544:
-----------------------------------

update site per component will happen when we have athena builds for each component, and a buckybuilder to aggregate them into a single site.

Now that we have working Hudson nodes (woo!) I can stop mucking about w/ the Mac box and trying to teach myself nfs/vboxsf, and focus on creating more athena builds for the components / learning buckminster (or p2) for creating composite / aggregate update sites.

So, in future, each component zip will be an update site, and the all-in-one zip will be an aggregate of those. The jbt update site will simply be an unzip of that zip onto download.jboss.org. The more complex part will be redoing the jbds build so that it's downstream from the jbt all in one update site zip... and does whatever extra building / tweaking / repackaging / installer creation we need as an add-on.

> Project is growing pretty fast, so that would be nice have SDK so any contributor can install it and and then checkout from SVN only particular component for development.
