Cannot reproduce on Linux32 (Fedora 11) w/ OpenJDK 6 using Eclipse 3.5.1 (JEE SR1):

I suspect your problem was that the site was undergoing an update (delete/replace) between the time where you polled it for metadata and the time you attempted to download artifacts for installation. 

There are two solutions should this happen again:

a) wait 30 mins for the site to finish refreshing, then try again

b) use an update site *zip* instead. The latest can be seen here: http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/builds/nightly/trunk/latestBuild.html
