all our new eclipse tooling is under EPL simply because EPL and LGPL doesn't mix well if not done very carefully.

btw. the need for EPL clean dependencies is an eclipse.org projecthosting requirement not an EPL requirement.

moving to jboss tools means easier access to common code base and easier branching....but if not relevant for now then wait.
