our (JBoss tools team) integration testing have focused on the supported versions (Seam 1.2 and Seam 2.0) thus help from the community like you is essential for project versions.

For now the bug is unidentified as where it is, need to figure out what is causing the behavior for Seam 2.1...if you figure it out please let me know asap; we will look for it too.
