r4v2 is a more intense blue than r5v1. The r5 version is more subdued (it uses the JBoss.org blues) but other than that, they are identical.

Can you be more specific as to how they don't do it for you. Can you give me some examples of logos or sites where the colors do? I don't want to grope around in the dark.

The intent is for both of the r5 versions to be used exactly that way. The same we're only looking at a change in size of "JBoss" between the two. They don't have to be identical to be consistent. The consistency comes from the font family and color as well. 

If we were to change it to "Hobo" too, then we'd have a problem. :p
