with respect to the small JBoss I find that the JBoss size on the sticker is too big - it makes the "circle" pointy ;) I would go for a smaller JBoss, but maybe not as small as the r5v2 one.

With respect to blue versus .org blue then i'm torn - I feel the .org coloring is dark and gloomy...but I see a benefit of matching up with .org in the case we go for blue.

With respect to the color options then:
rv4v2_1 - like the lighter touch
rv4v2_2 - like the shading, but the red is too much red color and the dark border again makes it a bit too gloomy
rv4v2_3 - orange ok, but the dark border makes it well..dark ;)
rv4v2_4 - like the shading of the red - border too dark (maybe "too much contrast is the better word?)
rv4v2_5 - maybe, like the border of the wrench, but again for some reason my eyes keep focusing on the elipse
rv4v2_6 - no, my eye focuses too much on the red elipse
rv4v2_7 - no, elipse focus and too much Spring green

One thing I like about Seam logo is that it can be done in just one color - any samples on how this design willl look single colored ?

About logo coloring i like...tough one ;) But I think logos where the colors do not have too much contrast works best for me.
i.e. Skype's phone logo (shaded dark green),  Google chrome's tri-colored ball (complement colors?), and I do like the blue version of our logo ...just wondered if there were better alternatives I can't imagine without seeing them ;)
