First of all I cannot replicate it on simple project. What would be good here are:
1. Any exceptions from Eclipse log would help to find the reason
2. Example project, that works under clean Ganymede and doesn't under JBT 3.0.0.CR1
3. Or at least details about where auto completion doesn't work. As example: it doesn't work in assignment  expression inside method, or in static {} initialization block or wherever it is
