Wrong test is used here!
The correct tag to add for messages here is:
<f:loadBundle BASENAME="resources" VAR="msg"/>
There is no message bundle with the base name "msg" in the project (as indicated in your test case), but there is the message bundle with the base name "resources"!
Be carefull in what you're testing! Compare the attributes of your testcase and the same ones from the file greeting.xhtml)
