1. switched to .zip as there's nothing in the source that requires ownership or permissions to be set, and I can <zip> then <zip update="true"> to add to an existing zip. Also switched from shell to ant, and moved the place where the zip is created so it's not blown away when the build scrubs the /all/ folder.

2. paths good.  link from index.html is good, including file size. contents TBD.

3. decided we should just generate source for every build to help w/ downstream .rpm production

4. done. still TBD for JBT.
