Could you check if you really replaced your jdt.ui plugin with this patched plugin?
The size of the original plugin is 9419KB. The patched plugin is 9193KB.
How often can you reproduce this issue?
I was trying your test case for a couple hours, but didn't succeed to reproduce it.
