1. paste some JSF component on page
2. select "value" property in Property View and press "..." button

Why not have possibility to select bean and create new property  for selected value. (See  http://screencast.com/t/BWvpOKgt how this is realized in Orcale JDevеloper)

1. paste CommandButton
2. select "action" and press "..." in Properтy View. Will be nice if we can select bean and create new action method (see http://screencast.com/t/TfFAnUhyoH2 )
