Julien, please look at https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-4545. The fix for that issue should help to improve performance of Seam validator. If you will have an opportunity to verify the latest 3.1.0M3 build (I'm not sure if it's avaliable right now) it woulb be grate.
