I'm going to close this as won't fix, as it's not actually a bug (that we can tell) for the publish example. For archives, I'd suggest cleanign the project and doing a "full build" of the archive before doing a publish to test it out. 

If you have any specific bug with archives feel free to re-open this bug or create a new one.
