The order of the classpath entries in your project is changed, but that isn't the cause of this issue. 
I still can't reproduce the issue.
What jdk are you using? Do you have any other plugins except JBoss Tools plugins?
How did you install JBoss Tools (using the update site, unpacking required distributions to the dropins directory...)?  I would like to repeat your procedure.

Seam tests don't work with JDK 6, but they return a different error from the error you mentioned in Max's blog.
