Feng Qian commented on JBDS-673:

Hi Stelios,

For question1
In the document for jboss ws,

after you said
2.2. Configure JBoss Web Service facet settings
If you have already created a new Dynamic Web project, the next step is to add JBoss Web Service facet to the project.

Now has these sentences
Right-click on the project, select its Properties and then find Project Facets in the tree-view on the left-side of the project properties dialog. Tick on the check box for JBoss Web Services and open additional configuration for it, having clicked on the Further configuration required... link.

For q2,3 , I will modify the documents for them.

> In the JBoss WS User Guide
> 2.2. Configure JBoss Web Service facet settings
> If you have already created a new Dynamic Web project, the next step is to add JBoss Web Service facet to the project: ....
> No explanation on how to get this "Modify Facet Projects" pop-up for "JBossWS Facets". After I spent an eternity with much help from "Feng Qian (Grid)" I discovered the following.
> If you
> a) right click on the Dynamic Web Project
> b) Properties
> c) Project Facets (so far I always knew how to get to)
> d) Now
> 1. If the "JBoss Web Services" project facet is not selected then one you select it at the bottom left of the "Project Facets" an error link appears "Further Configuration Required" which one clicked it brings up the pop-up mentioned in section 2.2 of the configuration
> The issues here are
> 1. Nowhere that I have seen it explains how to get this
> 2. Also, once you have chosen the JBossWS facet it doesn't explain that to get again this link you have to de-select the "JBoss Web Services" facet, "press apply" and then "re-select" "JBoss Web Services"
> 3. Finally, I am not sure if it is due to my O/S (RHEL 5.2 CSB) but I don't see the "project facets" the "apply/revert" and the error link in one screen as for some reason "scroll bars" are provided to navigate around the Project Facets screen of eclipse although they should all fit fine in one screen
