by the nature of LaunchConfiguration I didn't see how it is possible provide more information...
LaunchConfiguration has type and atributes. Type id could be not informative for the user string -
as a best example we use "org.hibernate.eclipse.launch.ConsoleConfigurationLaunchConfigurationType" here.
May be we should ask eclipse team about adding category information (LaunchConfiguration.getCategory()) in the error information string?
Currently for Hbernate launch configs - category is null. So is Eclipse issue:
