I would say it should be enough for you guys to simply ignore (possibly warn if you are worried about it) if the name, precedence and fully qualified class name is the same - you would not be able to load the last found class anyway because of normal java classloading rules!

And I can't remove the two entries from the classpath since A) stuff wouldn't compile (WEB-INF/dev) B) view resources would not be found (view/).
