https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=235526#c10 suggests that fixing bug 269536 is in plan for M7, and notification re: unsigned jars should have been there all along (regressed in 3.4, should come back in 3.5).

Still doesn't help us for JBDS 3.0.x, but at least the story improves for 3.1.0's release (next year, presumably?).
