Brian Fitzpatrick commented on JBIDE-2023:
------------------------------------------

Slava, you're absolutely right. I was not looking at this correctly. There are Browse capabilities built in right now.

Couple of things...

1. We will need to see about adding any new action classes for ESB 4.7 once it's available this week. I'll try and pull together a list for you of those.

2. Right now the Browse for class dialog is very broad. Would it be possible to scope the list down to just those classes that extend AbstractActionLifecycle or whatever the base ESB action class is? That would make it easier to spot the supported classes and not have to go looking for a needle in a haystack.

Denis, I agree with your recommendation as well. I think setting the default superclass makes a lot of sense.

> It would be nice if the ESB editor could somehow populate an action class drop down or do autocompletion of the class name, while at the same time retaining the ability for the user to type in their action class name. Action classes in the drop down should probably be restricted to classes within project which extend AbstractActionLifecycle or AbstractActionPipelineProcessor and the org.jboss.soa.esb.actions package classes.
