In case of having a node with non-ended expression with no body typed as the node value in XHTML text (for example, <s:div>#{</s:div> ), if you try to make a hyperlink on that EL the org.jboss.tools.jsf.text.ext.hyperlink.JSPExprHyperlinkPartitioner.getRegion(IDocument, int) method comes into an endless cycle.
