Hey Tom , 

Sorry I can't understand you , but I found the when smooks editor open the json-to-java file , in the reader page , it show nothing. Because the config file miss <param> which record the input type...

I have added a function to analyze the input type when the config file miss it , please try it , maybe it can resolve your problem.
