I would vote for not releasing it... 

1.  We have no requirement from anyone to release it.
2.  We have enough problems with the stuff we have been asked to release :)
3.  We never really went through a proper design phase with it, as a group - to decide how it should be done etc.  That's not to say that what's there can't be reused etc.
