There are two elements I can see now that jump out:
- opening the Java editor when configuring a Java class (as in the example)
- opening an xml editor to edit the task forms when configuring a form for a task

Maybe there are some that I forget. 

I agree on the importance, but I won't have any cycles to include this by the end of the month I'm afraid.
