Also, after fixing the PartnerLinkTypes, everything seems to be okay: no errors, operations appear under PartnerLink Detail, receive, invoke, and reply look fine. Then after adding additional activities, the following error appears:

It is not clear what is the actual error. However closing / reopening the project and the the error goes away.
