Xue Peng commented on JBIDE-4551:
---------------------------------
To Max:
At the beginning , I don't design the Reader configuration wizard page , there is only a File Selection Page , when the wizard finishs, the tools will create a default Reader model. After few days , I think just a default Reader model isn't enough , so I want to add some GUIs to edit the attributes' value of the Reader model.
Yes, I can extend the File Selection Page and override some methods to add the Reader config GUI in the File Selection page , but if so , the wizard page will look too complicated.
Actually , this wizard's major job is add a input file , it's little weird to put the Reader configuration on it. :) , so I think to provide a single wizard page to configurate the Reader model can make the concepts to be more clear.
In M4 , there is a special tab page in Smooks editor to configurate the Reader , this wizard is back to the pristine status: only a file selection wizard page.
To Brian:
Look at the date of this issue , It's for the old Smooks editor version (M2,M3) , in M4 , the second wizard page disappears.

> Support CSV input data.
> User can follow the wizard pages to create the CSV reader configurations, Those CSV reader configurations can be used to transform the CSV file to XML DOM by Smooks runtime.
> So the Smooks tools can get the XML DOM trasform from CSV file to show them in the SelectorSelectionDialog and generate "Selector" string via those XML DOM model.
