Jan Groth commented on JBIDE-6935:
----------------------------------
My case is different from the one you are describing. Sorry for not having provided more information right from the start.
Stereotype and interceptor binding:
@ViewScoped
@Named
@InterceptorBinding // <---- (1)
@Stereotype
@Retention(RUNTIME)
@Target({ TYPE })
public @interface Action {
}
Interceptor and stereotype:
@Action
@Interceptor // <---- (2)
public class ActionInterceptor implements Serializable {
@AroundInvoke
public Object around(final InvocationContext ctx) throws Exception {
// ...
return ctx.proceed();
}
}
Code is working, and the validation message still appears in M2 nightly at position (2), not recognizing the @InterceptorBinding at (1)

> If an interceptor binding is declared as part of a stereotype definition (http://docs.jboss.org/weld/reference/1.0.1-Final/en-US/html/stereotypes.html#d0e4339), it's not recognized by JBoss-Tools, and the following validation message is rendered:
> "Interceptor declared using @Interceptor should specify at least one interceptor binding [JSR-299 §9.2]"
