I've just tested and it works for me. The explore action is *always* working, even if it sometimes browses to the wrong folder. I'm retargeting this to CR1 until we can get more info, however, I just made a commit which makes browsing to child modules (like in your picture) open the correct folder.

But to be clear, I am unable to replicate your screenshot, where the explore action is not functional. For me it is always lit up (both before and after my recent patch), though before the patch it opened the wrong folder in that situation.
