The hibernate dtd within a hibernate-core.jar is inconsistent with that at http://hibernate.sourceforge.net/hibernate-mapping-3.0.dtd
This will not be fixed - see https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBPAPP-3599

It has been suggested that the Hibernate plugin include a menu to update the dtd to a user-specified location or remove the entry, which should allow the user-specified entry to work. This would ensure that tools don't continuously get in the way and impede a developer's progress.
