Compilation errors after initial Seam EAR project creation

Fresh JBDS 2.1.1 install. Create Seam EAP project and select the Seam 2 runtime from the seam2 directory in EAP 4.3 CP07. 
After project is created Problems View shows 14 compilation errors. Restarting JBDS and cleaning all project modules fixes the issue.
